The Air and Land Program consists of four branches: (1) Air Quality, (2) Hazardous Materials, (3) Pesticides, and (4) Solid Waste. The goals of the Air and Land Program are to protect human health and the environment by creating public awareness and appropriate enforcement mechanisms, to ensure that daily activities by the public and private sectors are consistent with applicable laws and regulations.
